Google Android User Tips: How to change Time & Date Formats on Android

Got bored with default date & time formats on your Android? Want to make some changes manually? Then, here is the way to do that and is very simple. By, default Android comes with 12 hours format and MM/DD/YYYY date format. Users are not allowed to change the date, time zone and time options in default mode. But, by disabling default mode, users can easily manage these settings and can have other formats too.

How to change time and date formats on Android phones:

Step 1:
Go to settings option and tap on Date & time option as shown below.

Step 2:
Now you are into the date & time settings menu. It provides you various options to use. If you want to make manual changes to date & time then disable Automatic mode as shown below.

Step 3:
Set the current date and here you can use the option ‘Select date format’ to change the date format as below and select one from various options.

Step 4:
Select the current time zone from various time zones all around the world.

Step 5:
Now, set the current time and choose one from 12/24 hour format.
