Is Apple Watch 7 worth buying for 2022? Which Apple Watch 7 Should I buy

I have bought my first Apple Watch 1 (the 42mm size) when it was launched, that was back on 10th April, 2015.  The Watch 1 performed well and the battery last me couple of years too.  Back then, i have fork out extra money to buy a water proof casing for Watch 1!

Any way, I have lost and found my Apple Watch 1 for many rounds and finally I lost it back in 2021.  So, in conclusion; Apple Computers, Inc product really great consumer products and seamless iOS for the entire chain of gadgets they sell.

Below are some questions you might have for the new Apple Watch 7.

Is the Apple Watch Series 7 worth buying?

Verdict: Is the Apple Watch Series 7 worth buying? The short answer is yes. The Apple Watch Series 7 would provide iPhone users an unrivaled experience, especially considering the seamless integration between watchOS and iOS. Of course, you will need to be an iPhone user to take advantage of these features.

The Apple Watch 7 is the best Apple Watch overall. It's not a major upgrade over the Apple Watch 6 in terms of features, but it does have a larger display in new Apple Watch 7 sizes. For the first time, the Apple Watch comes in 41mm and 45mm versions, complementing the large screen

How is the Apple Watch Series 7 different?
Series 7 has the most advanced health and wellness features ever in an Apple Watch. You can measure your blood oxygen levels, 2 take an ECG from your wrist, 3 be alerted if it detects unusually high or low heart rates or an irregular rhythm, 3 and even measure your current heart rate.

What size Apple Watch 7 should I get?
According to Apple, the 41mm Apple Watch Series 7 is sized for wrists between 130mm and 200mm. (That's roughly 5 inches to 8 inches, if you're rusty in the metric system.) The 45mm Apple Watch Series 7 is sized for wrists between 140mm to 220mm, or, roughly 5.5 inches to 8.5 inches.

Is Apple Watch 7 waterproof?

What is the difference between Apple Watch 7 41mm and 45mm?Apple Watch Series 7 has a water resistance rating of 50 meters under ISO standard 22810:2010. This means that it may be used for shallow-water activities like swimming in a pool or ocean.

Do I really need cellular on my Apple Watch?
Separated from an iPhone: If you need to be out in the world without your iPhone, having a cellular Apple Watch gives you basic communication capabilities. This might be the case if you exercise without your iPhone or if you sometimes forget your iPhone due to a lack of sufficient pockets.

How far can Apple Watch 7 be from iPhone?

If WiFi does not work out, then her distance from the iPhone is between 30 and 60 feet (9. to 18 meters), with the longer distance only when there is a clear line of sight between the iPhone and the Apple Watch.

Even the smaller of the two watches in Series 7 (41mm) is bigger than the 40mm Series 6 Apple watch. People with smaller wrists will find this one more comfortable. The larger screen is more pronounced in the 45mm model, which is more suitable for people with bigger wrists.

Can Apple Watch still work if phone is off?
Yes - subject to certain conditions, many features may remain available when your iPhone is turned off. The full range of features - including calling and texting - is available when Apple Watch and iPhone are connected via Bluetooth. Whenever possible, the devices will connect via this method.

Hope you enjoy this article sharing my thoughts and research on the subject matter.

Cheers!

* To identify your iPhone model number, see https://support.apple.com/kb/HT3939. For details on LTE support, contact your carrier and see www.apple.com/iphone/LTE. Cellular technology support is based on iPhone model number and configuration for either CDMA or GSM networks.

  1. Available space is less and varies due to many factors. A standard configuration uses approximately 10GB to 12GB of space (including iOS and preinstalled apps) depending on the model and settings. Preinstalled apps use about 4GB, and you can delete these apps and restore them.
  2. Size and weight vary by configuration and manufacturing process.
  3. iPhone XS and iPhone XS Max are splash, water, and dust resistant and were tested under controlled laboratory conditions with a rating of IP68 under IEC standard 60529 (maximum depth of 2 meters up to 30 minutes). Splash, water, and dust resistance are not permanent conditions and resistance might decrease as a result of normal wear. Do not attempt to charge a wet iPhone; refer to the user guide for cleaning and drying instructions. Liquid damage not covered under warranty.
  4. Data plan required. Gigabit-class LTE, LTE Advanced, LTE, VoLTE, and Wi-Fi calling are available in select markets and through select carriers. Speeds are based on theoretical throughput and vary based on site conditions and carrier. For details on LTE support, contact your carrier and see www.apple.com/iphone/LTE.
  5. FaceTime calling requires a FaceTime-enabled device for the caller and recipient and a Wi-Fi connection. Availability over a cellular network depends on carrier policies; data charges may apply.
  6. Standard Dynamic Range video content only.
  7. Siri may not be available in all languages or in all areas, and features may vary by area. Internet access required. Cellular data charges may apply.
  8. All battery claims depend on network configuration and many other factors; actual results will vary. Battery has limited recharge cycles and may eventually need to be replaced by Apple service provider. Battery life and charge cycles vary by use and settings. See www.apple.com/batteries and www.apple.com/iphone/battery.html for more information.
  9. Testing conducted by Apple in August 2018 using preproduction iPhone XS and iPhone XS Max units and software and accessory Apple USB-C Power Adapters (18W Model A1720, 29W Model A1540, 30W Model A1882, 61W Model A1718, 87W Model A1719). Fast-charge testing conducted with drained iPhone units. Charge time varies with environmental factors; actual results will vary.
  10. Qi wireless chargers sold separately.
  11. Use of eSIM requires a wireless service plan (which may include restrictions on switching service providers and roaming, even after contract expiration). Not all carriers support eSIM. Use of eSIM in iPhone may be disabled when purchased from some carriers. See your carrier for details. To learn more, visit https://support.apple.com/kb/HT209044.
  12. Wireless broadband recommended; fees may apply.
