2022 Apple Watch 7 Review - #applewatchrepair #crackescreen #drmobiles

June, 2022:  Apple Watch 7 Review

The Apple Watch Series 7 is Apple's latest smartwatch, featuring a larger always-on Retina display, a more rounded design with a larger casing, improved durability, and faster charging, starting at a price of $399.

Announced in September 2021, the Apple Watch Series 7 is the newest Apple Watch in Apple's lineup and it is fairly early in its product cycle. Apple tends to release new Apple Watch models every September, and there is no reason to suggest that a new Apple Watch Series 8 will not launch this year.

There are early signs of Apple Watch Series 8 models with a number of upgrades and improvements and it is likely less than a year away. This means that now is still a good time to buy the Apple Watch Series 7, but some customers may prefer to hold off until the Apple Watch Series 8 launches.

What is the difference bewtween Apple iPhone 6 and iPhone 6S? It is worthwhile to upgrade my iPhone 6? Dr Mobiles Limited

Now that Apple has finally announced the iPhone 6s, answers to the big 'should I upgrade now or wait for another year?' question start to emerge. As is now tradition, the 'tock' of Apple's tick-tock update cycle sees the iPhone 6s retain the same design as its predecessor, but with some key upgrades.
iPhone 6s vs iPhone 6 specs

As you can see from the spec box on the right, on the surface very little has changed for the new iPhone 6s. But the 3D Touch technology is what really separates the two handsets. Apple has implemented 3D Touch into almost every aspect of iOS 9 – and feedback from the iPhone 6s' haptic engine (vibration motor) has been tuned to be more accurate.
It is disappointing to see Apple sticking with 16GB of storage for the base model of the iPhone 6s, when sure an increase to 32GB isn't too much to ask – especially since that is what you get from Samsung and Sony these days.

iPhone 6s vs iPhone 6: Display
The biggest different between the iPhone 6 and new iPhone 6s is their screens. They both measure 4.7in and have a resolution of 750 x 1334, but the major update here is 3D Touch. A development of Force Touch on the Apple Watch and newest MacBooks, 3D Touch knows how much pressure you are putting on the screen. This gives developers a whole new set of gestures to work and make their applications (and games) react to.
Apple has embedded 3D Touch deeply into the new iPhones' iOS 9 software, where it can be used to 'peak' at content such as the contents of message and links.

iPhone 6s vs iPhone 6: Design
As is usual for Apple's 's' upgrade the new iPhone is almost identical to the year-old iPhone 6. The only real change is the use of a stronger 7,000 series aluminium to reduce the risk of the phone bending when sat on in your pocket; this adds a fraction of a millimetre to the thickness of the handset (0.3mm to be precise, taking the iPhone 6s up to 7.1mm). Otherwise you will be hard-pressed to tell the difference between the two phones – good news for iPhone 6 owners not wanting to look out of date, bad news for any 6s buyers hoping to stand out.
Although the design is unchanged, Apple has introduced a new rose gold colour for the iPhone 6s and 6s Plus, which complements the equally new rose gold and regular gold Apple Watch Sport.

iPhone 6s vs iPhone 6: Camera
Another noticeable improvement is the new iPhone's camera. At 12MP it has a larger sensor than the 8MP iPhone 6, and Apple has worked hard to improve the way it uses every single one of those pixels. After explaining each improvement, Apple eventually resorted to assuring us that the 6s's camera is much better, and that's all we need to know.
A new software feature of the 's' phones is Live Photos, where the camera records a second of video before and after you take each photo, which can then be played to help bring an image to life. This feature isn't a million miles away from the animated photographs seen in the Harry Potter films. As for video, the iPhone 6s and 6s Plus can now shoot 4K video – a first for any Apple handset. The front camera has also been improved, up from just 1.2MP on the iPhone 6 to a much more respectable 5MP on the iPhone 6s.

iPhone 6s vs iPhone 6: Processor and storage
Apple will have upset many by yet again failing to increase the minimum iPhone storage from 16GB to 32GB. The new iPhone 6s gets the same storage options as its year-old predecessor – 16GB, 64GB and 128GB. As has always been the case with iPhones, the new model does not include a microSD card slot to increase this. Apple will point to its iCloud online storage system as an alternative to storing files on the phone itself, but for areas of poor 4G coverage – or for customers with a low monthly data cap – this will not be seen as an adequate solution.

How to update your iPhone and iPad to iOS 6? (Auckland, iPad, Repair, iPhone, Unlock, drmobiles, cracked screen)

You may not have an iPhone 5, but you can still get the latest Apple operating system by updating your iPhone or iPad to iOS 6. Here's how.

Are you keen to get your hands on the over 200 new features in iOS 6? Here’s our guide to a smooth update for your iPhone, iPod Touch, or iPad.
Which devices get iOS 6?
The new iPhone 5 ships with iOS 6, but you can also upgrade a few Apple devices to take advantage of the latest version of the iOS platform. Here’s the complete list:
iPhone 3GS
iPhone 4
iPhone 4S
iPod Touch (4th generation)
iPod Touch (5th generation)
iPad 2
The New iPad (3rd generation)
You can get a closer look at some of the new features in our hands-on with iOS 6.

Limited features
Before you get too excited, there are some features that will only work certain devices. For example, Siri is only available on the iPhone 4S, iPhone 5, iPad (3rd generation), and iPod touch (5th generation). Turn-by-turn navigation is only available on the iPhone 4S, iPhone 5, and iPad 2 or later with cellular data capability. Panorama is only available on the iPhone 4S, iPhone 5, and iPod touch (5th generation).

How to update to iOS 6
You have two basic options for updating your device to iOS 6, either wirelessly over-the-air (which will take a while) or hook it up through iTunes. Before you begin do a backup.
If you want to update to iOS 6 OTA then go to Settings > General > Software Update and pick iOS 6. Tap through the setup screens and wait until the device restarts (it would be wise to plug it in, especially if the battery is low). Click through another few setup screens and you’re done.
It will be much faster to use iTunes. Simply load it up and click iTunes > Check for Updates to get the latest version. Connect your device, select it in the left hand column and click Check for Update. Choose Download and Update, continue through the setup screens and wait. Leave your device connected until it restarts and then run through the setup screens and you’re done.
Make sure you don’t unplug the device or turn it off during the update and it should be plain sailing.

Problems updating to iOS 6
Every big rollout like this inevitably results in a few problems. If you encounter any hassles updating to iOS 6 then please post a comment, and if you find a fix then let us know. We’ll post a list and some possible fixes.

Cannot connect to iTunes store
If you encounter this message when you click on the App store link in Passbook then don’t worry. You can try the following fix:
Go to Settings > General > Date and Time > Set Automatically > Off.
Now set the date one year ahead to 2013. Go back and try to update the app again. If you get an error message, go back to Settings and turn Set Automatically back on again.

Wi-Fi issues
Some users found they had problems connecting to Wi-Fi networks after updating to iOS 6. The problem was caused by a Web page that went down on Apple’s website (it has now been restored). If anyone is still encountering issues with this, toggling Wi-Fi on and off should resolve it. If not, then try turning Wi-Fi off and restarting the phone before turning Wi-Fi back on again and you should be good to go.
Missing music
A number of users are reporting a problem with missing music after the iOS 6 update. Apparently Playlist, Album and Artists names are all present and correct, but attempts to play the tracks fail. It appears the Music app is having trouble finding them. Siri can’t find the tracks in question either.
You can find a discussion of this issue at the Apple Support website, but there is no solution yet other than restoring. That means deleting the content and then restoring it from a backup. The problem seems to be linked to iTunes Match.

The Ultimate Apple iPhone 5 Tips and Trick (Dr Mobiles Limited, Auckland), repair, unlock, cracked screen

Just bought an iPhone 5? This guide will help you make the most of your new phone with a myriad of helpful features you may not know your phone has.
The iPhone 5 is here and Apple sold 5 million units in the first three days, so there will undoubtedly be a few of you out there looking for some handy pointers. Below are a few tips and tricks to help you get the most from your new phone.

iOS 6 iCloud backupCopying your old data

If you’re upgrading from an older iPhone then you can copy across your contacts, apps, data and settings easily.
Simply make an iTunes backup and then copy it to your new iPhone. To do that, connect your USB cable, right click on your device in iTunes, and select Backup. Connect your iPhone 5 and right click on it in iTunes and then select Restore from backup.
If you’re last iPhone was running iOS 5 or iOS 6, you can use iCloud to do this. Just go to Settings > iCloud > Storage & Backup on your device and make sure it’s toggled on. You’ll need a Wi-Fi connection and it will probably take a while, so we would advise just plugging your phone in and using iTunes instead.
For contacts, you can copy them onto your nano-SIM card and stick it into your new iPhone 5, then go to Settings > Mail, Contacts, Calendars > Import SIM Contact. If you don’t have a nano-SIM in your old phone, you can export your contacts. Different phones have different methods. One of the simplest ways, if you are switching from Android, is to save your contacts in Gmail and then set up your Gmail account on your iPhone 5 via Settings > Mail, Contacts, Calendars. You’ll get the option to import them.

iPhone 5 passcode
Security

It is a good idea to go to Settings > General > Passcode Lock and set one up. That will prevent people from taking a look through your phone. You can also set your auto-lock timer in Settings > General which will both save battery power and increase the security of your phone. If you’re confident you can remember your four-digit PIN, there is also an option to have your phone wipe itself (completely delete all memory) if a PIN is entered incorrectly 10 times in a row. This is a potentially dangerous option for the scatterbrained among us, but could save your data if it’s stolen.

Social media

Facebook and Twitter have been fully integrated into iOS 6. This means you can share any content quickly and easily via the Share button.
Before you do that, you’ll need to set up your accounts. In Settings you’ll find Facebook and Twitter entries that let you input your account details once and then you’ll never have to enter them again. You may want to switch the Contacts toggle in the Facebook menu to “off“ before you do or you’ll end up importing contacts from Facebook into your Address Book.

iPhone 5 Tweet from Siri
Tips for Siri

If you’re new to Siri then you’ll want to play around with it. Press and hold your Home button to activate Siri. When “What can I help you with?” comes up, tap the “i” and you’ll get a list of what Siri can do.
You can teach Siri about people and locations by telling it things like “Jenny is my wife.” You can also dictate messages and emails. In fact, with iOS 6, you can use Siri to post tweets and Facebook updates. You can even launch apps with Siri now.

Tips for Maps

If you aren’t too keen on the new Maps App then check out our alternative iOS 6 map apps roundup. If you want to give it a try then you’ll find it’s easy to use. Touch and hold anywhere on a map to drop a pin. That gives you an exact address and allows you to select Quick Route for turn-by-turn directions, just hit the car icon and then Start.
You can tap “3D” to try out the Flyover mode and tilt and zoom to explore. You can also just tap the compass icon at any time to find North.

iPhone 5 panorama mode
Camera tips

You can access your camera directly from the lock screen on the iPhone 5 by sliding up the camera icon. Simply tap on the screen to decide what you want to focus on. You can also pinch to zoom in the camera app.
You’ll find the new Panorama mode in Options in the Camera app and it allows you to slowly pan around to capture a panorama shot. Just hit done when you’re finished. You can also tap the arrow to change direction.
If you want to take a screenshot of whatever is currently on your screen, press and hold the Power button and then press the Home button. You’ll see a flash to indicate the screenshot was taken.
(Note: We’d love to give you a tip to avoid the infamous purple lens flare issue that’s popped up with the iPhone 5, but there currently isn’t a fix for this. Apple may issue a patch for it in the future, but for now, you need to avoid aiming your iPhone near the sun if you hate the color violet.)

iPhone 5 keyboard shortcutsMiscellaneous tips for iPhone 5

If you double click the Home button you can scroll over to the right and lock your screen orientation in landscape or portrait. You can also see active apps and touch and hold them to turn them off, access the volume controls, and use Air Play from this menu.
If you don’t want to be disturbed, you can go to Settings and toggle Do Not Disturb on and incoming call, notifications and messages won’t bother you. They’ll still be collected, but your iPhone won’t make a sound or light up.
Go to Settings > General > Keyboard > Shortcuts and you can set up your own personal shortcuts for typing messages. You can also add loads of emoticons to your text messages by going to Settings > General > Keyboard > Keyboard and selecting Emoji.
When you are reading a web page in Safari and you want to skip to the top quickly, just tap the status bar.
