23-April-2011:  Yesterday was Easter Day, Dr Mobiles Limited was closed for a day; as we have to observe the holiday law in New Zealand.

During the free hours, we surfed the new and found our google map link and it is located here.  It is very fast to load and make it very easy for clients to locate us.

VIDEO: World's first flying car launched

A car which can convert into a plane in just 30 seconds and fly at 115mph is set to go on sale after a successful maiden flight

The £130k Terrafugia Transition runs on unleaded fuel from any garage and can cover up to 450 miles on each tank.

When not taking to the air drivers can fold up the wings and the car can be driven on normal roads and motorways.

Makers say it could be on sale by 2011 and that orders are already pouring in ... mostly from men who always wanted to be James Bond.

The vehicle has front wheel drive on the road and a propeller for flight.  

"This breakthrough changes the world of personal mobility.  Travel now becomes a hassle-free integrated land-air experience," said Carl Dietrich, CEO of Terrafugia.

"It's what aviation enthusiasts have been striving for since 1918," 

Legally driver/pilots will only be able to take off and land at approved aviation airports.

VIDEO: World’s steepest roller-coaster opens

A roller-coaster which plunges down at 112 degrees has opened, and instantly bagged the title of the world’s steepest.
Mumbo Jumbo, at Flamingo Land in North Yorkshire cost over £5,000,000 and was inspected by an adjudicator from Guinness World Records this weekend.
The 98ft-high ride twists and turns on its way down, subjecting riders to 4G, that's the same G-force as experienced by an F1 driver.
Theme park bosses are said to be overjoyed with their new star attraction ... but after the opening and world record setting is it all downhill from here for the plunging ride?

World's smallest deer gives birth

One of the smallest deers in the world, a Southern pudu, has given birth in Belfast Zoo.

Baby Caju a three-week-old Chilean pudu - the first of his species born in captivity in the UK - has now been revealed to visitors.

Even when fully grown litte Caju will only measure 45cm high and weigh 14kg.

Zoo Keeper, Raymond Robinson said: "He is very small and can be difficult to spot but is having great fun running around his enclosure.

"Caju is a great addition to the zoo. Our male pudu arrived in 2004 and our female arrived in 2008, and it’s great to have a baby already."

World's smallest microwave plugs into USB

If you can't tear yourself away from the computer for long enough to get lunch this could be your ideal desk accessary.

The tiny microwave plugs into the USB slot on your computer and can be used to heat up a snack or drink in seconds.

It was designed by Heinz and experts at GAMA Microwave Technology, and measures just 150mm x 160mm x 190mm making it the world's smallest microwave.

Before you rush out and try to order one, spare a thought for all the poor IT managers across the country who just let out a collective gasp as they imagined you spilling sticky food all over 'their' keyboards.

Makers of the prototype say they came up with the idea after a recent poll found 20 percent of UK office workers miss out on meals because they are too stressed to take time off.

"It gives workers across the country a much needed helping hand to make some of their favourite hot snacks either on the go or at their desk by just
plugging the microwave into the USB port on their computers," said a spokesperson for Heinz.

World's smallest road legal car is no wind up.

A engineer with a passion for creating bonkers cars has built the world's smallest licensed car, measuring just 56 inches long and 26 inches wide.
That means Perry Watkins' minuscule motor is fully road legal in the UK and can be driven like any other car. Well almost.
He says the chassis came from a quad-bike and the body used to belong to a Postman Pat children's ride. After putting them together he was left with a car capable of doing 37mph.
However it's not too practical, other motorists might not spot you… and you'll never fit the shopping in the back.

World's smallest caravan can be towed by scooter (Dr Mobiles Limited, 09-551-5344)

It can be towed by a mobility scooter, measures just 2m by 75cm and is being suggested as a way of bagging a spot for the Royal Wedding… meet the world's smallest caravan.

Despite the diminutive measurements the £5,500 QTvan caravan still boasts a full-sized bed, a 19 inch television, a drinks cabinet and tea making facilities.

Optional extras include solar roof panels, a SKY TV satellite dish, a games console, extra-wide wing mirror for mobility scooter and custom paint jobs.

And makers say the mini caravan is so small that if you need anything else, you could even tow it into a supermarket… though don't expect to get there too quickly, it has a top speed of 6mph.

A spokesperson for the firm said: "Elderly spectators hoping to bag the best spot on the Royal Wedding procession route, but unwilling to spend a night camping on the pavement, can now buy a caravan designed to be towed by a mobility scooter.

"The QTvan is the world’s most environmentally-friendly caravan. Using a conventional caravan for a ‘staycation’ within Britain remains a relatively green way of taking a holiday. 

"But if the electricity used to charge the mobility scooter is bought from a green provider, the QTvan is entirely carbon neutral."

Developed by Environmental Transport Agency (ETA), the caravan was designed to highlight the 220,000 people who use a mobility scooter without breakdown cover.
